CK-12’s help center says the site is free for students, teachers, parents, and schools, and that a free account includes AI tools. The Flexi Play listing says there are no ads and no in-app purchases.
Teaches, or gives the answer?
CK-12 describes Flexi as a tutor tied to its courses. The Play listing also says you can photograph a math problem and get an instant solution. Those are two different ways to use it.

Not verified
CK-12 is a nonprofit. We did not review a children’s privacy notice specific to Flexi chat logs in this pass.
What we could not verify
- The student-tutor page we read called out math grades 6, 7, and 8, and said one integration was only available for science FlexBook content. The app listing also mentions high school and college. Younger than 6th grade was not established.
- A Flexi help question asks whether CK-12 will charge later. We did not capture a published answer, only the current “free” statement.
