Pricing
Verified from public pages
Quill.org says it is a nonprofit and that its activities are free for students and teachers. A premium model is sold to schools. There is no family price because the activities themselves are free.
Teaches, or gives the answer?
Students combine sentences, proofread, and revise with hints. The tool responds to their writing. It does not generate an essay to turn in.

Classrooms are often set up by a teacher with student names or a class code. We did not review a COPPA notice in this pass.
What we could not verify
- The live site shows activities for 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 8th grade ELA. An older Quill overview PDF said grades 3–12. Kindergarten through 2nd grade is not a fit.
- “Reading for Evidence” is part of Quill, which is why reading is tagged. It is still a writing product first.
